During onboarding, we'll help you set up your subscribe widget which you can add to any page.
If at any stage you change your list audience list in Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp or Hubspot you can update the widget yourself! You can also change the image or copy on the subscribe component at any time too.
Note: If you're changing newsletter providers and have a new API key please get in contact with Customer Success to assist with updating your provider details.
How to update your list ID:
- Head to Pages on the left of the platform
- Select Widgets from the sub menu under Pages
- Open your subscribe widget (this is what we'll call the component for you during onboarding so it's easy to identify)
- Depending on whether you're set up with Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor the Provider will already be set for you. Please don't change this dropdown from the one already selected.
- In the ListID field remove your old list ID and add your new one. This might also be called the audience ID depending on your newsletter provider.
- Click Create your widget!
- The last step is to resave your content page(s) that have the subscribe widget to clear the page's cache. If you don't do this that's fine! New subscribers won't pull through to your new list though for roughly 24 hours until your pages are re-cached. See how to clear page's cache.

Hubspot
You will need:
- List ID - Can be found in the URL for your list in Hubspot, see my test example on our account https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/1933976/lists/5
- API Key - Can be found in your Hubspot account's settings under Integrations > API Key
Please note:
- The integration only captures Last Name/First Name/Email passed by the frontend form - same as Campaign Monitor or Mailchimp
- In Hubspot when you create a list, you have to choose "Contact-based" > Static list - That's a Hubspot requirement for the API (see https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/lists/add_contact_to_list
- "Please note that you cannot manually add contacts to dynamic lists."
