How to update social links and hashtags in the footer

With Roam you're able to link to your social media channels, highlight your brand’s hashtags and showcase your organisation’s partner logos on the footer of your website.

Updating social links:

1. Go to Theme on the left-hand side of the platform
2. Next, select the Marketing tab.
3. Enter the URLs associated to your social channels under Social Networks. The social icons will only appear on your footer if you've entered a link.

Adding your brand’s hashtags:

Within the Marketing tab, you can also add your brand's hashtags by entering text to the hashtag field. Note though that the hashtags won’t be clickable by users but promote brand awareness.

Adding partner logos:

To promote your partnering organisations, add your partner logos under the Partners section. Logos will automagically resize based on the number of partner links you've included in your footer!

Pro tip: changes to your footer can take up to 1 hour to display onsite due to the platform’s caching schedule. To view your changes straight away, re-save your homepage and this will trigger a recache straight away to that page so that you can view changes.
