Vertical vs Horizontal Images

Not all images are suitable for all situations. You may find vertical images don't work as well in certain components as oppose to horizontal images. This is especially true for the images with people.

If you're adding a vertical image to e.g. Image component and the image is cut off you will need to either crop the image enough to have a horizontal shape or use a different component.

EXAMPLE:

Using Image Component

1. On the left is the original image. On the right is what the image looks like when uploaded to the Image component

2. Here, we cropped the original image. At the top is the cropped version. Below that is a comparison between the vertical and cropped image uploaded to the Image component

Using Text component

Sometimes it's not suitable to crop the vertical image as it loses the important details. In this case, you can use the Text component.
